Delete your data

HMW Social stores your Instagram account ID, username, profile photo link and the access token Instagram gave us. If you turn on automated replies, we keep the recent text of those conversations so replies make sense. Otherwise we do not keep copies of your messages or comments.

Option 1, inside the app

  1. Log in at /app.
  2. Open the Settings tab.
  3. Press Disconnect and delete my data. Your token is erased right away.

Option 2, from Instagram

Instagram, Settings, Apps and websites, remove HMW Social (it may still appear as Handle My Socials in Meta). Instagram then tells us to delete your data automatically.

Option 3, by email

Write to hello@howmindswork.org from the email on your Instagram account and we will delete it within 7 days.
